Brief Intro

Jesal is an LA based web developer/programmer, with 4+ years of professional experience in various aspects of server side and client side programming using LAMP and WISA stacks. He is currently a partner/co-founder of Calisto Labs, LLC, an interactive design/development shop based in Torrance, CA. This site is his personal blog and technology playground.

Hello! My name is Jesal. I happen to be in my twenties. I’m originally from Mumbai (Bombay), India. At present I’m livin’ it up in beautiful and sunny So Cal.

Some of my interests include:

Traveling, adventure, photography, movies (especially indie films), music, magazines, writing, surfing the web, late nights, cricket, soccer, spirituality, theoretical physics, meeting new people and of course programming!

Speaking of programming, I’m a jack-of-all-master-of-one type. And that one is ASP.NET & C#. It’s my favorite weapon of choice.

Since I become anxious at the thought of being washed over by new developments in technology I try to keep up with the latest news and trends in the industry as much as I can.

This Site

As mentioned above, this is just my personal technology playground which acts as an occasional blog to discuss and share things that interest me or just things that I learn in my everyday job. It also functions as my rudimentary portfolio to showcase some of the things I’ve worked on.

The website is built using a Wordpress blogging platform, along with a customized (read: hacked) version of the Fifty Fifth Street theme.
