Scion Murasaki Street Racer
For: SNOWBALL
Role: Senior Developer
Description: For this project we combined cutting edge 3D technology, using Away3D and Flash Player 10, along with the latest Facebook Connect API and CodeIgniter (MVC PHP Framework) + MySql as the backend, in order to help promote the all new Scion xB RS 7.0 in Murasaki purple. This site allows users to challenge their friends through Facebook invites, to a street race in the all new Scion xB. Players compete for high scores, badges and the chance to unlock different color car models. Race results, badges and invitations are posted to Facebook for maximum viral activity.

Description: Worked as a lead developer along with UI-engineers/designers to develop three regional sites for SANYO North America (us.sanyo.com) including the SANYO Store, a complete e-commerce solution with PayPal PayFlow Pro API as the payment processing back-end featuring order notification, automatic inventory updates, real-time shipping rate calculation via UPS API, discount pricing, promotions, advance taxing and shipping rules among other things.
Also assisted in the creation of a comprehensive CMS to help administrators easily maintain, contribute and moderate content for all the three regional sites of SANYO North America. It was built using .netTiers CodeSmith template.
